During the visit of the First Vice President and the Minister of Health and Child Care of Zimbabwe, Dr Constantino Chiwenga, and the high-ranking delegation from the Pasteur Institute of Iran, ways of establishing scientific collaborations between Pasteur Institute of Iran and the Ministry of Health and Child Care of Zimbabwe were discussed.

In this meeting, which was held on February 26, 2023, the history of the activity and scientific and production capabilities of the Pasteur Institute of Iran was presented to the Zimbabwean side, and then a visit was made to several research and diagnostic departments of the Pasteur Institute of Iran. 

Dr Rahim Sorouri, the Director of Pasteur Institute of Iran, emphasized to promote scientific and technological cooperation between the researchers from Zimbabwe and Pasteur institute of Iran, especially in the field of vaccines and biological products, conducting joint research and cooperative learning to involve the students working together to accomplish shared goals. 

While appreciating the visit, Dr Constantino Chiwenga also praised the capabilities of the Pasteur Institute of Iran and emphasized the expansion of interactions with the Pasteur Institute of Iran.
