On January 5, 2025, the Pasteur Institute of Iran and the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute held a high-level strategic meeting at the Razi Institute’s headquarters. The session aimed to create a detailed roadmap for enhanced collaboration, focusing on consolidating Iran's scientific and public health capabilities through a unified national effort. Central to the discussions was the imperative to integrate the distinct strengths and resources of both venerable institutions. Leaders unanimously agreed that synergy in vaccine development and biological product innovation is crucial for addressing national health priorities and bolstering health security.
