On October 1^st and 2^nd, 2024, a team of researchers from the Saint-Petersburg Pasteur Institute in Russia, consisting of the Deputy Director of Research, the head of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics of Pathogenic Microorganisms, and the head of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetic Monitoring, visited the Pasteur Institute of Iran. During their visit, the researchers undertook a tour of several departments; namely, Arboviruses and Viral Hemorrhagic Fevers, Epidemiology, Rabies, Bacteriology, Tuberculosis, and the National Reference Laboratory for COVID-19. They also engaged in fruitful discussions with the President, the Director of Research, Technology and Education, and the Director of Production at the Pasteur Institute of Iran, exploring potential scientific collaborations between the two members of the Pasteur Network in the near future.
