The Knowledge Translation School, themed "From Research to Impact," was held virtually from September 13 to 16, 2026, with 11 instructors and over 100 participants. Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health's Center for Development and Coordination of Scientific Information and Publications and the Pasteur Institute of Iran's Knowledge Translation Committee, the program gathered faculty members, researchers, and graduate students to explore topics such as the fundamentals of knowledge translation, developing research messages and media reports, drafting policy briefs and executive reports, and scientific communication through social media. The course emphasized that knowledge production leads to sustainable impact only when research results reach beyond academia and are translated into language usable by policymakers, professionals, media, and society. Participants gained both conceptual understanding and practical skills for transforming research findings into accessible messages and content for diverse audiences. The event also strengthened researcher-society interaction and highlighted knowledge translation's role in enhancing research impact, improving scientific communication, and supporting evidence-based decision-making—marking a step toward turning research center knowledge into understandable, usable, and impactful knowledge in society.
