On June 6^th, 2024, an Action Plan was signed in Dakar, Senegal, by Dr. Rahim Sorouri, the Director of the Pasteur Institute of Iran, and Dr. Amadou Alpha Sall, the Director of the Pasteur Institute of Dakar. This collaborative effort aims to enhance the research and surveillance capabilities of both institutes in combating emerging infectious diseases. The one-year Action Plan seeks to foster a cooperative environment for addressing the shared health challenges related to infectious diseases in Iran and Senegal.
