A faculty member from the Pasteur Institute of Iran took part in the technical advisory group meeting of the World Health Organization held in Ghana

Dr. Ehsan Mostafavi, a faculty member of the Pasteur Institute of Iran, participated in the technical advisory group meeting of the World Health Organization in Ghana in June 2023. The meeting focused on the latest developments regarding Arboviruses, including various aspects of public health, clinical treatment, and available vaccines for these diseases.

It's important to note that in 2021, the World Health Organization established an independent and multidisciplinary group of experts called the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for Arboviruses. This group analyzes the global impact of Arboviruses and provides scientific and strategic recommendations with the participation of clinical, virology, immunology, epidemiology, and medical entomology experts.

The TAG comprises 18 experts from different countries around the world, including Dr. Ehsan Mostafavi. His participation in the meeting aligns with his membership in this advisory group.
