Karaj Production Center  

The production and research complex of Pasteur Institute of Iran was founded in 1988 on the Tehran Karaj Highway. It was established to meet the increasing population demand for products such as various solutions and vaccines and providing requirements for research like different laboratory animals .

Nowadays, this complex produces biological products such as B.C.G, Hepatitis B and animal rabies vaccine and recombinant products such as erythropoietin, streptokinase and interferon alpha. As all the products of this complex are produced and controlled by current international standards, they have the capacity to supply international markets.
