History:

• Since 1920, the Pasteur Institute of Iran has been the country's main center for controlling infectious diseases and producing vaccines.
• With its reference laboratories and advanced research, this institute plays a key role in diagnosing and combating infectious diseases.
• Today, relying on modern technologies and training specialists, the Pasteur Institute of Iran is one of the main pillars of the country's health security.

 

During air raids on Tehran in the spring of 2026, parts of the Pasteur Institute of Iran were damaged and destroyed. Due to the vital role of this institute in safeguarding public health, we need public support and contributions to rebuild it and continue its scientific and health activities.

Due to international challenges, transferring money may not be straightforward to Iran. However, as per our coordination efforts, the representative offices of Iran abroad are prepared to collect cash donations and transfer them to the foreign currency accounts of the Pasteur Institute of Iran within the country.

 

Additionally, a list of necessary equipment for the institute has been compiled. You can contact us to access this list, and if deemed appropriate, these items can be purchased and transferred to the country through either the Iranian representative offices abroad or the Red Crescent Society (Red Cross) or any means agreed mutually.
